OPEN DOOR TO THE NATIONS
Ghana, Togo, Uganda, Sudan, Kenya and Nigeria, Africa

Dear Friends,
We are so grateful for all the doors the Lord is opening for us. It’s finally here! We leave for Ghana, Africa on June 2nd and will be partnering with Andy and Gunilla Glover and their ministry Revival to the Nations. How we ended up going to Ghana is nothing short of miraculous. We were going in another direction when the Lord began to speak loudly and there was nothing to do except simply obey. We had our second planning meeting regarding our time in Ghana and our schedule is very full. We have an apartment in Accra the capital but we will be going into the northern parts of the country for three-week trips and the neighboring country of Togo. These trips will include establishing bible schools, pastor's conferences and small crusades with local leaders. We will also travel to many other nations throughout Africa. Our heart is to preach the gospel but even more so to equip indigenous leaders in such away that it will spark a fresh fire for revival and church planting.

Ghana, has an interesting history. It was one of the key locations for the export of African's into slavery. Unfortunately I just found out slavery is still alive and well in parts of the neighboring countries as young women are gathered up by the truckload, ritually abused and sold into prostitution. It's a dark place however the Lord reminded me of a pray I had prayed repeating only the words of Heidi Baker, "Lord, I want to be a laid down lover that carries your glory into the darkness." Obviously I had no idea what I was saying or praying, let alone that the Lord would say, "OK".

Bible Schools, Pastor's Conferences and Village Outreaches We have now pinned down our specific financial needs and projects we are currently working on. We want to thank you for your prayers and support and would ask you to prayerfully consider partnering with us and sponsoring a pastor’s conference, training schools or regular monthly support. We understand for some of you giving large amounts is difficult, but even a small monthly amount of $50 - $100 for one year would make a big difference. Some of the cost is due to the fact that many pastor will travel a long distances to spend time with us and we need to be able to feed them. To be a pastor in this area means not only a loss of your entire family but a future spouse. Most families will not allow their daughters to marry a pastor because they don't make any money. That didn't sound any different from here but when you consider there is no infrastructure or government to care for you in an emergency family becomes everything.

More love and more power for Kenya
We recently had a planning meeting with a ministry in Kenya called Hero to the Nations that was very interesting. This is an amazing ministry with over 400 orphans and five bible schools that has now trained over 1,000 pastors. The Kenya leaders and their western financial partners have truly done an amazing work. Their schools are rated in the top 5% of the nations and when others come to Kenya to start orphanages the government requires them to visit this ministry. They also have incredible favor with the government. They contacted us and invited us to come so with all their amazing blessings my question was why do you want us to come? The response was one we have heard from others, we want you to bring the Father’s love and the fire of God. My heart just broke as he described why they focus on youth verses the adults. It turns out the young people are still looking for opportunities while the adults have come into agreement with a hopeless life. We must know Lord and experience his love (Romans 5:5) because hope in the Lord will not disappoint. We may also have an opportunity to set up an evangelistic crusade and are working on the details now. Please continue to pray for the finances on all of this as we move forward by faith believing God will provide. We only want to do what the Father is doing and if He guides he will provide.

We will be leaving this coming Monday and no longer be able to send updates by mail however we are going to send email newsletters. Our prayer request is simple we feel completely in over our heads! :) Pray that the Lord will give us the grace and increased anointing to do all he has called us to do.
