HERE WE GO BLOCK BY BLOCK!
Dear Friends,
Today the Lord provided the first 100 cement blocks to begin construction on Zion Elementary School in Atebubu, Ghana!
How do you build a school? One block at a time of course! So here we go and we would love your help. You can purchase any amount of
cement blocks you want for only 50 cents each! Fifty dollars for 100 cement blocks and that includes the labor to make them! You can see that no amount is too small!
There are now 380 kids meeting in small rooms with crumbling half walls of mud, painted mud chalkboards and a broken foundation. One director and four teachers provide education that consists of Math, English and God! The Muslims are sending money down from Northern Africa into the poor regions of this country. Many are establishing schools and indoctrinating the children into the Islamic religion.
Mission Support Network was launched with a passion for Jesus and His harvest. It’s our desire to reach those areas that have never heard the name of Jesus, make disciples and reach women and children at risk, one block at a time if necessary!
For most of us, we take education for granted - but in many nations education is a lift out of poverty and in some circumstance means life or death. We would like to ask you to prayerfully consider participating in this project to provide basic education for the poor while reaching them for Christ. You can donate online simply click on the donate button above or mail a check to the address listed on this email. Remember purchase as many cement block as you want for only .50 cents each. Even a little means a lot.
We love you and thank you for your continued prayers and support!
Blessings, Cathy and Stuart Greer
YOUR PRAYERS MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Recently our partners Peter and Alice Ataih’s son, James (pictured below), was running when he fell and broke his knees. Surgery was performed but they told him he might have a limp. Would you join us in prayer as we declared healing over James and full mobility to his leg. Also restoration of all finances lost as a result of this injury
Peter and Alice are spiritual parents in their community. Many Muslim and Animist have come to Christ because they have laid their lives down for Ghana and the poor. Peter has planted in his fifty years over 90 churches with both the Assemblies of God and currently with Zion Assemblies. As a spiritual Father he is also the president of the counsel of churches in his region and has mentored many leaders. Their desire to help the poor and their willingness to go after the smallest villages in the region, which are simply waiting their turn to receive Christ, captured our hearts!
Your prayers make a difference. Please also note the prayer requests above and join us in prayer as we share the incredible news that Jesus is King and his Kingdom is here. Thank you.
