A HUNGRY CHURCH FOR HEALINGS, SIGNS & WONDERS RESULTS IN MANY HEALED AND RELEASE FROM LOCAL HOSPITAL
It was so good because we were able to speak from our own experience, how we had to overcome intimidation and become believing believers. We shared our testimonies and how we have seen God’s power in various countries all over the world. We have since challenged them to pray for the sick themselves. We adopted the bible school as our ministry team for the outreaches this weekend. Last night in the church we modeled praying for the sick in large groups and over 25 people were healed. I had a word of knowledge about arthritis in the hands and a man who could not even move his hands was completely healed. It was so exciting to see the Lord activate them and bring understanding that they too can be used by God. We challenged them as parents to take authority over sickness in their homes with their children too.

The next day we took five young adult leaders from different churches to a local hospital to pray for the sick. We only had time to pray for six people with them and then leave. Three of the six we prayed for were healed and one came out of the hospital and is the older man in the middle of the picture next to this article. They were so excited and so were we. The next day in the ministry school we heard even more testimonies of people who had been healed and the nurse called one of the pastors and told him many were released the next day after they came and prayed. CHURCH MEMBERS MUST TITHE OR LEAVE
During the Sunday service at Zion Church I wa shocked as I was watching the Sunday offering being taken and asked the pastor about it. He told me all church members are required to tithe or leave. I said what about a new believer? He said. "We tell them why it so important and they must tithe." I said, "Don’t you let them figure it out and give from their heart." He said, “Tithing is so basic and so important, you must tithe.” He began to explain to me that he has had divine health for over 20 years and has never gone to the hospital and has prospered. He believed that tithing is connected to healing and every spiritual blessing. If the member doesn't’t tithe they must not be a believer and he talks to them. I was shocked. I told him we don’t all tithe in the US church and he said, "Why not? Don’t the believers in the US know the Word of God?" I responded, “Yes.” He said, “Then they would know you have to be faithful with this to receive other blessings.” I explain sometimes people don’t trust the church because they feel manipulated by the pastor to give money. He explained to me that He never touches the money and that the elder’s handles it but he watches them too to make sure they are honest and handle it rightly. He went on to say they wanted to be blessed by God and the people also to be blessed. What could I say? I’am not sure I would go as far as he did not allowing someone to be a member of the church but I understood what he was saying. Right after this conversation they took another offering. I was again shocked! I said, "What are you doing? Why are you doing this again?" He said, “Well, the first one is only offerings and the second one is for tithes that these people did not mail and are giving now.” Two offerings? Wow. I could only pray as I watched those who had nothing to give from the little they had. (back to the home page)
